The JEFFSY 29
The JEFFSY 29 is one of the most aggressive and agile 29ers on the market. The big, 29-inch wheels are responsible for the significant BB drop, which leaves you sitting 'in' the bike and feeling confident even when things get heavy. The big wheels also provide excellent traction and grip, while helping you rack up the miles on long rides. On fast descents, the big wheels keep things smooth and help the JEFFSY 29 stay on course even on rough tracks. It all adds up to a bike that is suitable for both rookies and experienced riders.
The JEFFSY 27
You like to play, get steezy and send every jump? In that case, the JEFFSY 27 is the perfect choice. The 27.5-inch wheels are stable, snappy and dynamic in turns. Because the JEFFSY 27 really likes airtime, we've given it 160 mm of front travel to ensure you have enough in reserve to really express yourself on the trails.

The JEFFSY is a versatile all-rounder with impressive climbing capabilities and the gravity DNA that all YT bikes share. Thanks to our award-winning V4L suspension technology, it is very sensitive off the top, with good mid-stroke support and plenty of end-stroke progressivity.

This gives the JEFFSY plenty of pop and agility in both the 27.5-inch and 29-inch versions. The JEFFSY wants you to pull up off every little lip, but it also has enough in reserve to give you a feeling of safety in rough terrain and on big jumps. And on the climbs, the ergonomic seated position and the high anti-squat give JEFFSY plenty of drive.

Flip Chip

Thanks to the Flip Chip, the frame's geometry can easily be adapted to your riding style. In the low position, the head angle is slacker and the BB drop more pronounced, for better stability when pinning it in rough terrain. In the high position, the steeper head angle and higher BB position make for easier climbing and more agility on tighter trails.

Frame Protection

Perfectly integrated guards protect the frame against rock impacts and scratches. Made from super-tough and wear-resistant PA 66, the downtube protector is bolted on and can be easily replaced. It is designed to wrap around the bottom bracket and thus provide extra protection for the side walls of the downtube in this critical area. The chain stay and seat stay guards also help keep the noise down, so that the only sound you'll hear on the trail is that braaaaap! we all love so much.

Race-Specific Advanced Sealing Concept, Axial Lip-Seal (RASCAL)

In addition to the industry-standard internal seals of our high-quality, double-sealed full complement bearings, we use self-developed sealing washers, that protect all suspension linkage bearings and keep water and dirt at bay. Their axial lip seals increase the useful life of the bearings considerably to make sure that every JEFFSY can withstand the burden of heavy Trail-Riding use.

Chainsuck Plate Protection

Should things get a little rough, the inconspicuous chain suck plates protect the frame from damage caused by a dropped chain. This keeps sensitive areas out of harm's way and helps prolong your frame's service life.

All-Carbon Headtube

The contact surfaces for the integrated headset are preformed directly in the carbon structure. The homogeneity of the material in this area creates the ideal balance of weight, durability and performance. The ZeroStack design with integrated bearings ensures a long service life, while the mounting dimensions allow the use of ZS49 / ZS56 Reach Adjust headsets – pro level adjustability for everybody.

Internal Cable Routing

Developed in-house, details like internal cable routing with built-in cable guides underline our claim to fame in the world of high-quality carbon bikes. For ultimate protection, the cable is almost entirely hidden in the frame, while the perfectly integrated ports and cable clamps make for a super-clean look. Race-ready: the full-length cable guide is held in place by a bolted clamp in just one area, making it easy and fast to swap cables when needed.

V4L / Virtual Four Link

V4L is responsible for providing outstanding small bump compliance that virtually sucks you to the ground as well as great midstroke support to really optimize the use of the available travel. And the nice pop makes sure you can get airborne at a moment's notice. So you don't bottom out harshly even after hitting the biggest jumps, the ending stroke spring curve is very progressive. V4L supports you around the sag point, ready to absorb obstacles but without being affected by pedaling forces.

YT is shaking things up and their portfolio has an added dimension now by introducing a sharp-looking trail bike to the family. The IZZO is born! The carbon-framed 130 mm-travel trail bike with 29-inch wheels fills a void for YT and is destined to uncork Good Times for riders on after-work rides through local woodlands as well as during trans alpine adventures.

As both the CAPRA (180mm/180mm & 170mm/170mm travel) and the JEFFSY (160mm/160mm & 150mm/150mm travel) boast increased travel across the range for 2020, the IZZO (130mm/130mm travel) perfectly caters for those riders out there looking to ride trails and embrace the uphill just as much as the downhill – no matter where they are in the world. The IZZO is YT's lightweight contender and comes in four model variations: IZZO Launch Edition (12.0 kg, limited to 150 pieces in Europe & USA), IZZO Pro Race (12.1 kg), IZZO Pro (12.6 kg), IZZO Comp (13.2 kg). Inspired by the sleek and simple design, yet impressive precision and effectiveness of the Katana sword used by Samurai in ancient Japan, the IZZO has been developed to be a fast, agile and sharp bike in both form and function.

Each model is available in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL spanning a reach from 429 mm to 513 mm, and every model variation has the exact same high-performance carbon frame.

The cutting-edge climbing characteristics of the bike are courtesy of a steep seat tube angle of 69°/69.5° (act) paired with low stack height and low weight. This combination will let riders conquer grueling uphill climbs with ease. The geometry can also be adjusted thanks to the Flip Chip, which drops the BB by 5 mm and results in a 0.5°-slacker head and seat tube angle. The playful YT feel is ensured thanks to an active, progressive suspension – YT's first 4-bar suspension linkage by the way – and the relatively short chainstays that differ for sizes S to L (432 mm) and XL to XXL (437 mm). This progressive but not overly aggressive and well-balanced geometry, paired with a great kit, will ensure Good Times on backyard trails and long days in the saddle alike.

Let's be honest: not all of us can boast the luxury of having mountainous terrain on our doorstep. With that in mind, the IZZO has been developed and spec'd with lighter tires and rims and 130 mm travel to deliver the perfect performance balance for the trail category. The Launch Edition is limited to 150 bikes worldwide, and boasts high-performance and high-tech components, while the unique colorway is a feast for your eyes. Both a FOX 34 Float Factory fork and FOX Float DPS Factory rear suspension deliver the goods when the terrain gets rough. The premium SRAM Eagle AXS drivetrain guarantees effortless, cableless shifting and the AXS package is rounded off with the SRAM Reverb AXS. The Pro Race, Pro and Comp models come with variations of FOX 34 fork, FOX Float DPS rear suspension, SRAM drivetrains and brakes, and with the FOX Transfer Factory or YT Postman dropper posts to complete the package.

Both the newly designed Thirstmaster 5000 (835 ml) and the Thirstmaster 4000 (600 ml) FID LOCK bottle fit in the frame snugly and will ensure you always stay hydrated when out on a ride. An adapter also offers the choice of fitting a regular bottle cage as well, to suit all rider's needs. Bolts below the top tube allow for fixing a utility belt to carry spares and tools to help you on the trailside. Custom to YT's way of taking care of details, maintenance and servicing are simple, thanks to the ‘single sided hardware access' enabling the suspension linkage and rear triangle hardware to be installed and removed from the same side. The ‘race-specific advanced sealing concept' and ‘axial-lip-seal' prolong the service life of the IZZO, thanks to additional seals that protect the double-sealed full complement bearings and keep water and dirt at bay.
